This is a great workshop to learn the basic techniques of corded Trapunto and simple Trapunto step by step. This project is done in a quilt as you go technique so you are only working on a strip that is very manageable under the machine. You learn how to do both the cording and simple Trapunto and then how to quilt these together and then join the completed strips together as quilt as you go and your project is finished.

Many people look at quilts and cannot imagine that they are capable of creating such intricate designs. With foundation paper piecing it is easier than you think.

Easy, stress free perfection

Foundation piecing consists of sewing pieces of fabric on to a paper pattern to create a quilt block. Using the foundation piecing technique to piece blocks gives you the ability to construct complicated patterns easily and accurately.

Once you discover how to assemble a quilt using the foundation paper piecing technique, you will be able to make any number of quilt patterns.
