The Gecko Gully Fabric Printing Kit is brilliant!

With this kit you will be able to print up to 25 Letter size (similar to A4, 8.5" x 11") sheets of your own personally designed fabric.  Or quilt labels.  Or even blocks!

Imagine being able to design your own fabric on your computer at home.  You could include scenery, favourite people, pets or places.  Whatever you like!

And you know those quilts you would love to make, but the piecing or the appliqué is just too hard?  Why not print the blocks (up to about 7" square finished size)?  Sure, it is almost cheating, but you still get to piece your quilt together and embellish it, and quilt it!  I have made some beautiful wall-hangings this way, and they look great.

Of course, there are all those wonderful photo quilts that make great gifts for someone special.  Just scan in your photo and print it right onto the fabric.

Don't forget quilt labels!  You can create your own unique labels, with pictures, photos and words, and print them right onto fabric.

So how does it work?

Your Gecko Gully Fabric Printing Kit includes:

bulletBubble Jet Set, 16oz bottle
bulletFreezer Paper, 25 sheets 8.5" x 11"
bulletBubble Jet Rinse, 16oz bottle
bulletFull instructions

First, you need to wash, dry and iron a piece of plain cotton patchwork fabric. Then you soak your fabric in the Bubble Jet Set, and let it dry.  Press it again, then press it onto a sheet of freezer paper.  It will then fit easily into your computer printer (inkjet only, not laser).  Print on the fabric, then peel it off the freezer paper and wash it in the Bubble Jet Rinse.  Iron it and it is ready to use however you want!

(More detailed instructions come with the kit).

What can I use it with?

Use it with any of the Electric Quilt software design products - EQ5, Town and Country, Stars and Sets, Dear Jane.

Or create your own labels with the HP Custom Quilt Label Kit.

Here's part of a project I am working on at the moment (Click on picture to see a bigger view).  I found the project in Town and Country, and printed the blocks onto prepared white fabric using white homespun with the Gecko Gully Fabric Printing Kit.
