The Three Rail Fence quilt was developed in response to requests from those with absolutely no previous patchwork or quilting experience. It is a traditional pattern, made using very fast strip-piecing techniques, which also makes it an ideal quilt for the more experienced person wanting a really fast-to-finish quilt. These instructions are written in a very detailed manner, and there are many photographs included. They include descriptions of the entire process of making the quilt, from fabric preparation and cutting, through to machine piecing, basting, hand quilting and binding. There are even instructions for left-handers! The finished size of the wall-hanging quilt is approximately 42 inches square.
