Your web site will be built using the state-of-the-art CubeCart Version 3 software as a base.  If you like, you can choose to upgrade to CubeCart Version 4, which has a lot more features.  Then you can choose either to add your own products and categories, or we can upload them for you. The price for the basic site is just $AU500.

I've kept up the product codes that you used.  They make sense to me!

I find it really quick and easy to do the updates. I think as I do more I will become even better at it.

This basic site has

  • Your own design, or we can design your site together
  • customer registration, and customers can look up their past orders
  • automatically updating Latest Products and Popular products areas
  • randomly generated Featured Product area to tempt your buyers
  • unlimited categories and sub-categories (and sub-sub and so on) for you to put your products into
  • an administration login, where you can add, change or delete products and categories as often as you like
  • add change or delete documents (like the About Us, Contact Us, Terms and Conditions, etc)
  • view orders and email customers about the status of their orders as they are being processed
  • view details of all customers registered
  • can easily sell either digital products (downloadable files) or tangible goods (things you post)
  • set up your preferences for shipping and taxes, within the options offered
  • keep track of stock levels if you want to, and even show these to your customers if you like
  • the statistics section of administration lets you see how many people are online (and if they are registered and logged in, it will tell you who they are), what people have been searching for, and a full breakdown of popularity of products
  • the system has a built-in mailing list which customers can join with or without registering, so you can send out newsletters and announcements of new products
  • both the administration and the customer sites are easy to use and to navigate
  • interface with Mal's (to use your own credit card merchant facility), PayPal, or print an order form.  Or interface with selected bank payment service where available.

I'll let you in on a secret.  You can actually download the CubeCart version 3.0.18 software for free from the cubecart site.  So if you think you have the technical expertise to set it all up, you can do this same site for yourself for nothing.  The $500 I am asking for covers my time and knowledge in setting it up how you want it, without you having to learn all the technical stuff first.  To give you some idea of the skills you will need to set it up yourself, here are some of the things you will need to know: php, sql, tpl, css, picture editing, graphic design, file uploading.  Know all that?  Great!  Have a go!

Oh, and the $500 you pay me includes the $89 or so I need to pay to CubeCart to make sure you have a fully registered, legal version of the software.

You will also get 1 to 2 hours of over-the-phone one-on-one training in how to use your new site.

I keep meaning to write a user manual, but I have never got around to it.  When I do, you'll get a copy of that too!
